The BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats played a close and tense match. Both teams gave their best, play after play, until one kick made the all stadium hold its breath.
The lions puch the game into More time. Quarterback Nathan Rourke threw strong and accurate pass over 400 yards and two very big landing.
The came the winning movement that is Sean Whyte kicked a 19-yard field goal, giving the Lions a 41-38 victory. That single kick decided it all.
Before that, the Tiger-Cats had fought very hard. Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns. They tied the game with a field goal in the last second of the common time. But in overtime, they feel that cost them their chance to win, and the Lions took control.
The game was very exciting from start to last. The Lions made mistakes.
The Tiger-Cats had energy. Both teams gave their all. Rourke said after the game, “A win is a win… we made mistakes, but we kept going.” The coach added, “I’m proud of how the guys finished the game… someone very fast when it mattered.”
This wining movement mean more than just point. The Lions team ended their two- games by losing line and got a revenge for their July 27 lost to the Tiger-Cats. For Hamilton, their six gaming winning line came to the point of end a big chance in the seasons.
This game showed why people love football. It wasn’t very perfect. It wasn’t one-sided. But it was full of excitement, and it ended with one kick that kept everyone guessing until the last second.
