Cricova stores more than a million bottles, including rare wines from over a hundred years ago. Visitors ride small electric trains through the tunnels, visit beautiful halls, and taste some of Moldova’s best sparkling wines.
Castel Mimi looks like a beautiful castle. It was built in the early 1900s by a winemaker named Constantin Mimi. Today, visitors can enjoy wine tastings, walk through its gardens, and relax in its famous wine spa. Castel Mimi also hosts fun events like VinOPERA and Rosé Day every year.
Founded in 1827, Château Purcari is one of the oldest and most famous wineries in Moldova. It’s located in the Ștefan Vodă region, where the soil and climate are perfect for growing high-quality grapes.
Purcari’s wine, Negru de Purcari, won a gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1878. The winery continues to win top awards even today. Visitors can enjoy delicious dinners, stay overnight, and taste award-winning wines while looking over the Dniester River.
